Thandubuhle Mgudlwa appointed as Joburg Tourism CEO
The Johannesburg Tourism Company (JTC) Board of Directors announces a change in the Johannesburg Tourism Company Senior Executive Team.
The Board of Directors has successfully concluded the recruitment process for a Chief Executive Officer of the Johannesburg Tourism Company and has therefore appointed Mr. Thandubuhle Mgudlwa as Chief Executive Officer with effect 1 October 2023.
“On behalf of the Joburg Tourism Company Board and Management, I would like to welcome and congratulate Mr. Mgudlwa in leading the Johannesburg Tourism Company. Kindly afford Mr. Mgudlwa the necessary support to execute the duties and responsibilities of his office,” said the Chairperson of the Johannesburg Tourism Company Gugu Sithole.
Mgudlwa formerly held the posiition of Executive Head: Tourism Strategic Services in the JTC and was a Chief Director of Tourism in the City of Johannesburg.
