Nominations Now Open for South African Heroes Awards 2025
Celebrating South Africa’s Unsung Heroes Uplifting Communities Tshwane, South Africa. The prestigious South African Heroes Awards (SAHAs) are back for their 7th annual event. The much-anticipated awards ceremony will take place on the 29th of November 2025 in Gauteng. The SAHAs celebrate unsung community heroes; ordinary individuals doing extraordinary work to build, uplift and serve their communities across the nation.
South Africans are encouraged to nominate themselves or community heroes who are making a meaningful impact. A motivation letter detailing the nominee’s contribution and impact must be submitted via southafricanheroesawards@gmail.com / info@sapositivenews.com .
Nominations for the SAHAs have now been extended and will close on the 30th of June 2025. With preparations underway, organisers are calling on stakeholders, sponsors, corporates, media partners and development organisations to join hands in celebrating community excellence.
The 2025 edition of the South African Heroes Awards promises to introduce new categories that reflect emerging community needs and development priorities. In addition, there will be enhanced opportunities for collaboration between award recipients, corporate partners and community organisations to strengthen the collective impact on communities across the country.
