Police have finally arrested the 30-year-old man in connection with a murder and attempted murder of police officers.

According to police, the suspect who has been sought in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, was arrested in Johannesburg through an intelligence-driven operation on Saturday, 14 September 2024.
The operation was led by the Serious Organised Crime Investigation’s Tactical Operations Management Section (TOMS) assisted by the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial tracing team, SAPS National Modus Operandi Centre, and the Johannesburg District Aggravated Robberies team.
It is reported that the suspect has been sought by law enforcement both in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, where several attempts to secure his appearance in court were in vain.
The suspect was also expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates court on 28 July 2024, for possession of an unlicensed firearm but failed to do so because at the time he was also being sought for murder in KwaZulu-Natal.
“The suspect will be appearing in court soon on Jeppe case facing charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm then transferred to KwaZulu-Natal where he will answer to murder and attempted murder as per Estcourt case as well as murder as per Loskop case.
