MALAWIAN NATIONALS ARRESTED FOR BUSINESS BURGLARY & THEFT.
Johannesburg Central Police have arrested two suspects between the age of 35 and 63 for business burglary and theft at Mayfair on the 02nd of January 2018 at around 17:30 hours.
Tactical security vehicle responded to the alarm system activated at Truck for Hire Company at Church Street. They found two suspects leaving the premises with a gear box, rims, and clutch plate of the truck. They apprehended them and contacted the police. Suspects got entrance into the building by breaking the palisade fence.
Police Preliminary investigation revealed that one of the suspects was working in that company in the past. The two intended selling the stolen properties in the scrap yard.
According to Captain Xoli MBELE spokesperson for police in Johannesburg Central ” further Investigation are under way and suspects will appear soon in the Johannesburg Magistrate Court.”
