Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) is offering an exciting international opportunity for its graduates to gain global skills and exposure through a prestigious internship programme in China.

In collaboration with the Chinese Culture and International Education Exchange Centre (CCIEEC) and the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA), CJC is recruiting 10 students to participate in a 12-month international skills development and internship programme.

This life-changing initiative forms part of a broader agreement between CCIEEC and W&RSETA, aiming to provide 50 South African TVET graduates from across the country the opportunity to learn in China.

The programme focuses on developing skills in e-commerce and online business, which are essential in today’s digital economy. Strictly for CJC students, this opportunity could mark the beginning of a career that spans beyond borders.

  • Have no criminal record
  • Be medically fit as per the Chinese skills programme requirements (free from HIV, TB, and STI)

This international training and internship programme is designed to equip South African youth with valuable workplace skills in an international setting.

CJC has emphasised the importance of using this chance to advance both personal and national development goals.

By fostering young professionals who are globally competent and digitally skilled, this initiative aligns with South Africa’s broader vision of economic transformation through youth empowerment.
