Absa Rewards Ten Lucky Customers with Brand-New Cars

Absa Bank recently delighted ten lucky customers by gifting them brand-new OMODA C5 cars as part of its Summer Campaign competition. The winners were celebrated at a special event where their unique stories of perseverance and loyalty were shared.

The Summer Campaign encouraged customers to swipe their Absa Visa Card for a chance to win, while also benefiting from a share of R100 million in cash back through Absa Rewards. Thousands of customers across South Africa participated, making the competition a huge success.

Thabisa Mkhwanazi, Managing Executive of Marketing and Communications for Everyday Banking at Absa, expressed the bank’s commitment to its customers. “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and it is a privilege to transform their lives, one story at a time. This campaign allowed us to show our gratitude and give back to those who trust us as their financial partner,” she said.

The winners, who come from different provinces, each received an OMODA C5 along with six months of comprehensive car insurance. Families and Absa executives attended the celebratory handover event, where the winners shared how Absa has supported their financial journeys.

One winner, Koketso Ntekane from Johannesburg, was especially moved by the experience. “I sold my car to focus on growing my business, and I kept hoping that one day I’d be able to get an SUV to suit my family’s needs. Thanks to Absa, that dream came true sooner than I expected. What they’ve done for me is truly life-changing,” she shared.
