Sandton will come alive next month with SOKE, a new cultural event that celebrates Africa’s heritage, creativity, and spirit.

The one-day experience, organised by Untamed Authority, will take place on Sunday, 12 October 2025, from 1pm to 10pm at Maracanã in Sandton.

SOKE will showcase the best of African music, art, fashion, and food all in one place. The event is supported by BOS Ice Tea and Martell, and aims to honour the richness and diversity of the African continent.

Organisers say the event is not just about entertainment but about pride in African identity.

“We wanted to create a space where Africa is celebrated unapologetically, in all its beauty and vibrancy,” said the Untamed Authority team. “SOKE is about bringing people together to experience the heartbeat of the continent.”

Guests are encouraged to dress according to the theme “A Touch of Africa”, adding African-inspired elements to their outfits.
