Casey Foundation Africa announces the appointment of Dorcas Dube to its Board of Directors. With a distinguished career in strategic communication, education leadership, and social development, Dorcas brings invaluable expertise and a deep commitment to empowering disadvantaged communities.
Dorcas is the National Marketing and Communications Manager at Citizen Leader Lab. She holds a master’s degree in strategic communication and is pursuing a PhD at the University of Johannesburg, focusing on transformative leadership in South African public schools. Her research and professional experience align with the Foundation’s mission to foster education, resilience, and empowerment in vulnerable communities.
Throughout her career, Dorcas has played a pivotal role in the non-profit, education, and media sectors, leading impactful initiatives that uplift underserved communities. A multi-published editorial author and recipient of numerous social impact awards, she has been recognised for her dedication to advancing education and social justice.
Casey Foundation Africa is committed to breaking the cycle of child marriage through education support, skills development, and mentorship programs. By equipping children and parents with the tools to make informed decisions, the foundation ensures that every child can reach their full potential.
