Salvage Building in Jeppestown Catches Fire
EMS Firefighters responded to a fire incident call on corner Janie and Jules Street in Jeppestown, Johannesburg this morning at 09:50.
On arrival Firefighters found a 2 story building on fire. The fire started in the basement of the building where shacks were erected.
12 shacks were completely destroyed in the incident. Fire completely extinguished. No injuries reported.
EMS implores the residents of Johannesburg to be extra cautions when using electrical appliances during the cold front.
