AFHCO gives away Kia Picanto
In November 2017 AFHCO, Africa Housing Company, kicked off an exciting competition to win a brand new Kia Picanto, plus a weekly share of R5000.
All the public had to do to enter was to live with AFHCO, either as an existing tenant or signing up as a new tenant.
The last few weeks saw 10 lucky tenants take home R5000 in cash, and on the 17th of March 2018, the big ‘Celebrate with AFHCO and YFM’ event was held in the piazza of the End Street Mall at 120 End Street, a building owned and managed by
AFHCO.
The event attracted a huge crowd, who were attracted by the sounds of YFM DJ’s Lebza da Villain and DJ Candii burning up the deck with the latest hip-hop and house music. Dance competitions, rapping contests, great giveaways were the order of the day, with the MC, Themba Boyi, keeping the crowd going and narrowing the nine finalists down to five.
The five finalists each got a car key but only one was the right key, and the festivities come to a climax with the turning of the winning key.
The crowd, caught up in the drama of the moment, cheered wildly as the winner, Sipho Nyoni, claimed his brand new Kia Picanto.
A tenant at AFHCO’s Moray House, Siphowas over the moon, “I’m so overwhelmed at the moment but I’m so happy.
It’s been a rough week, but this is just the best thing ever, and all thanks to AFHCO – I’m glad I made the right decision by staying with AFHCO.
You know my lease ended last year in June, but I told myself, let me continue and stay with them, and I’m so glad I did! I stay at Moray House, one of the best and the cleanest, and I’m so happy about that.”
Nomfundo Mwelase, AFHCO’s Brand Manager was also glad of the opportunity to have fun with AFHCO tenants, “This has been an exciting few months for us, first with the 10 winners of a share of R50 000 and then the big giveaway, the Kia Picanto.
The moments leading up to the winner opening the car door were as nerve-wrecking for us as it was for him. We continue to promise our tenants that when they live with us they will be rewarded, and this is evidence of that”.
