“When security guards responded towards the screaming they were shot at. One security guard was shot and killed.  The suspects made off and a chase ensued.

Police patrolling the area were able to catch up with the suspects in Turfontein, and they were cornered at a house at Berta Street. Six suspects were arrested, and five unlicensed firearms, three rifles, including two AK-47s and two pistols were recovered,” Makhubele said.

The owner of the house was also arrested, bringing the total number of arrests to six.
